Ulama in Politics

Do you like the Ulama to run the government of Ranao? Arata Wata says, NO. Without exceptions, the Ulama politicians have failed miserably. Even the lucky ones who did not have to buy people's vote acted like the traditional politicians. Worst in some cases.

What do you think?

  1. They have done more than enough to desecrate their "sacredness".....enough of them.

  2. What puzzles Arata Wata is that these evil men went to the highest institutes of Islamic studies all over the world.

Many of them have post graduate degrees in Islamic Juresprudence and Theology. They know very, very well how they gonna burn in hell if they don't live righteously yet they still do the things they do.

    Allahu Akbar!

"So manga aleem na laleem.", people says.

  3. They may have gone to the highest Institutes of Islamic Studies like you said but we're totally clueless as to the level and quality of knowledge that they have acquired for themselves...I admire them for doing so but we don't really know if they can abstract major ideas from a conceptually densed text...and I'm talking about the materials written in complex language...

bottomline is...they may not have learned anything at all because if they did, they would have refrained from running...Astaghfirullah!

  5. Hi there...just got back from Marawi and witnessed the ever-chaotic elections....nothing's changed you may say but wonders upon wonders, it was considered by many as "relatively peaceful"....

I'll write my comments soon...Thanks Aratawata for your reply...well-said...

  6. I read from one of the news clips that even a Pakistani member of Free Election (?) monitor got 500 pesos and a cheat list of candidates to vote in Marawi.

Every Pilandok got money that's probably why it's peaceful. Every election, Pilandok gets expensive.

  7. Maybe, our Ulama can learn from the newly elected Governor of Pampanga, Eddie Panlilio. He is a priest. We should monitor Eddie's performance.
