RCAPP

I suggest that we post the position paper of RCAPP so everybody can read it and we can talk about how we can help. Raslannie, please send me a copy of the RCAPP position paper or your contact number. We can post an audio or video clip of the founder, Atty. Bayan Balt, if he want to. This is the kind of stuff that we like to discuss in ArataWata.Com.
I have mentioned in my previous posts that the erection of the National Power Plant in the old Marawi City Hall was a big mistake. It destroyed the natural flow of the Agus River and the farm lands in Basak area.

raslannie abdullah RANNAO CLAIMS AGAINST THE POWER PLANT (RCAPP) ,stand of RCAPP againts National Power Corporation (NPC), the National Power Corporation rise six hydro eletric power plant and they are using our Lake Lanao to supply electric power about 65-85% all over Mindanao.The problem is the maranao people leave around the lake in Islamic City of Marawi as the source of electric power @ they are suffering brouwn out in every 2 hours @ also our Lake suffering 35% contaminated. RCAPP is Ranao Claims against the Power Plant, It is an Environmental organization created and organized in accordance with Philippine laws on September 1, 2002. The Philippine government recognized RCAPP as a separate entity with juridical personality as a non-stock corporation incorporated under security and Exchanges Commission (SEC) registration NOS. ReplyDeleteSalam. We are very thankful for the two groups (RCAPP or the SALLAM) of organization batting for the destruction of Lake Lanao and its tributaries. Since we are barking to NPC and other line agencies of the government that lead to the gradual destruction of the lake, I am asking these two groups of organization if they have initiated a programs or projects that will rehabilatate or mitigate the dwindling situation of the lake. Meaning are they planning or implemented programs side by side with their demand from NPC and the like to mitigate the lake? By the way, ARAWATA can you check for us if its cheaper their in US these Nutrient (nitrate, Nitrite, Phosphate) Analyzer, dissolved oxygen meter with pH and temperature and Refractometer. Please let us know in your blog if you have time so we can assess our resources and start making or studying the water quality of the lake initially. Salaam to all and ARAWATA for having this blog.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I thought SALLAM is gone after they were paid by NPC. It's leadership vanished into thin air. Well, not all of them because some used the money to run for political offices.
If it's still alive and kicking, I agree with Bombola, it should join hands with RCAPP and fight for the right of Pilandok not for their personal gains.
I will definitely inquire for the product that you're looking for but I have no freakin' idea what it is. :?) and where to look for it. Is is a machine or chemical product? Do you have a brand name? Tell me what it is in simple terms. This requirement probably needs a separate thread for discussion. I will post one when you reply.
